1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this site, you certify that you are at least 18 years of age or have legal parental/guardian consent. These terms apply to all visitors, students, and faculty from the United States, Kerala, and globally.

2. Religious Nature of Services

MalayalamUniversity is a non-profit religious institution operating under Florida Statute 1005.06(1)(f).

  • All educational content is provided for religious, ecclesiastical, and cultural purposes.

  • Our degrees and certificates are religious in nature and are designed for the spiritual and cultural enrichment of the Mar Thoma Christian community.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

The "MalayalamUniversity" name, logo, and all course materials—including lectures on Mar Thoma history, liturgical texts, and Malayalam language resources—are the exclusive property of MalayalamUniversity.

  • Limited License: Students are granted a non-transferable license to access materials for personal, non-commercial educational use.

  • Prohibitions: You may not record, redistribute, sell, or "scrape" our digital content without express written permission from the University Board.

4. User Code of Conduct

As an institution dedicated to a 2,000-year-old sacred heritage, we expect all users to interact with dignity and respect. You agree not to:

  • Use the platform to disparage the Mar Thoma Christian faith or any other religious tradition.

  • Post defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content in student forums or portals.

  • Attempt to bypass security measures or gain unauthorized access to student records.

5. Student Enrollment & Fees

  • Admission: We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone who does not meet our religious or academic criteria.

  • Refunds: Tuition and donation policies are governed by our internal Bursar Policy, available upon request.

  • International Students: Students from Kerala/India are responsible for ensuring their local internet regulations allow for the access of our US-based religious content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

While we strive for historical and academic excellence, all materials are provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the website will be error-free or that the information provided will meet specific secular employment requirements, as our focus is primarily ecclesiastical.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, MalayalamUniversity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the county where the University is headquartered.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
